- Operational life: Max 5 years
- Age from January of manufacture year
- Comply with relevant authority legislation

MANDATORY: All vehicles must conform to energy efficiency standards. Issue inquiry notice via Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.

Citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries can import:

- If unsatisfied: Local agent lists for new car value
- Depreciation: 10% annually from March of first year
- 10% for following years (starting January 1st each year)
- Maximum discount: 50%
GCC Import Fee Transfer
If vehicle moved from another GCC country:
- Must not exceed 2 years from first GCC entry
- Proof of customs duties paid at first port
- Satisfied with first port value (or pay difference)
- If fee category differs, collect the difference
